PAINT DOSING AND MIXING SYSTEMS

The Paint Dosing and Mixer Unit can be designed according to the required number of stations. The purpose of the system is to produce paints in different colours and shades automatically, using the base colours manufactured and used in industry. Recipes are created for each colour and stored in memory, making subsequent production straightforward. The system can be used comfortably with both water-based and solvent-based paints. All system equipment is designed and built explosion-proof, eliminating any risk to occupational and worker safety during use.

To prevent the paint from solidifying while the system is idle, paint is transferred at set intervals between the dosing unit and the drums in the phase unit.

Each drum has its own mixer system, which runs at set intervals both while the system is operating and while it is stopped, keeping the paint at a viscosity suitable for use at all times.

The phase structure is manufactured strong enough to carry the system equipment and is coated with epoxy and powder paint for protection against external conditions.

PAINT TRANSFER PIPES 

  •  They transfer paint between the drum and the dosing unit
  •  The pipework is manufactured in stainless steel.
  •  The pipework is reinforced against vibrations that may occur while the system is running.

PHASE UNIT DRUM LIDS 

  •  The lids for the drums in the phase unit are specially designed.
  •  They are engineered so that the pump and mixer can be mounted on them.
  •  The lids can be manufactured with the upper section reinforced in stainless steel so that they retain their original form, or entirely in stainless steel.

PHASE UNIT DOSING PUMP AND MIXERS

  •  They are mounted on the drum lids in the system
  •  The pumps and mixers are air driven.
  •  They are selected according to the requirements and capacity of the system

Long-lasting, durable materials are selected on the basis of the chemical properties of the paint used in the system.

INTERCONNECTING HOSES AND FITTINGS:

The hoses used in the system are selected to suit the system pressure.
Flexible hoses are chosen so that there is no kinking or twisting as the lids move.
The hose material is selected to be resistant to solvents.
Hose connection equipment is selected from materials suited to the corrosive effects of the ambient conditions.
Stainless materials are used in all fittings and valves that come into contact with the paint in our system.

DOSING 

  •  The paint sent from the drums at the stations according to the recipe is dosed in this section.
  •  It is designed to dose into a drum or a tank of a different size.
  •  The paint arriving at the dosing section is delivered to the drum by dosing valves.
  •  The dosing valves have a by-pass feature and are two-stage

WEIGHING SYSTEM 

  •  The weighing system used in the dosing unit is designed explosion-proof.
  •  Depending on the dosing method it can be designed for variable capacities such as 100 - 300 - 600 kg
  •  A roller conveyor is used in the weighing area to secure the drums and provide ease of movement.

TRANSPORT SYSTEM (ROLLER CONVEYORS)

Used to transfer the drum filled in the dosing unit to the mixer unit.
Manufactured galvanised for protection against outdoor and corrosive conditions.
Because the rollers in our conveyors are internally threaded, maintenance is straightforward

MIXER UNIT 

  •  After dosing, the drum containing the blend of different colours is sent to the mixer section and stirred until the paint inside is homogeneous.
  •  The mixer unit is entirely air driven and is an explosion-proof system.
  •  The mixer moves up and down with a pneumatic piston, making it easy to move the dosed drum into and out of the mixer unit.

CONTROL SYSTEM AND AUTOMATION

  •  The panel used in the system is explosion-proof. Environment conditioning devices are used for this purpose.
  •  All equipment used in the panel and all air control devices are designed from CE certified materials.
  •  The automation system is designed to store approximately 1,000 recipes.
